EZGO HAS A NEW CD COMING OUT IN MAY 2010!
It is tentatively titled EZGO III. Yes the name is lame so if you have a name suggestion let us know! This new CD features a mix of new tunes for us and a number of songs we have been playing for years. On this page you can hear demos from the new CD as they are mixed along with some info about the tunes. We are really interested in any comments and constructive criticism as these are just mixed and we can change the final versions, like are the vocals too high, do you hear enough drums, should we just give it up and stick to our day jobs? Please let us know what you think. Email us at ezgoband@comcast.net
Little Red Book - Jeremy sings this Beach Music classic originally recorded by the Drifters and sung by Johnny Moore in 1976. Like most EZGO tunes it features big, fat backup harmonies. Sweet.
Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow - This is a new tune for us and Stacey is singing this song by popular demand. The song features her on lead vocals and the rest of us doing our part as the EZGOelles with some pretty cool backup vocals. This song was originally written by Carol King done and recorded by the Shirelles in 1961 and it is still rocks!
I Love Beach Music - This beach music classic is one we have been playing at shows for years. It epitomizes the beach music, shag dancing sound so popular on the east coast. Dr. Don sings this one originally written and recorded by the Embers.
Freeze Frame - Why 'cuz it is a cool song! Another new song we look forward to playing this year, it's just fun! Dr Don and Jeremy sing this one originally recorded by the J Geils Band.
Alison - Actually an EZGO oldie we have only played one time at a show for a slow dance song. We do it because Dr Don loves the guitar in it and enjoys playing it. Originally recorded by Elvis Costello in 1977 on the album My Aim Is True.
